At Lee Gigney Construction we look after our customers by delivering a consistently, high quality service at competitive prices. Gigney has a refurbishment department covering all aspects of building work giving advice and technical support. We also operate a genuine 24/7 property maintenance service available to help with electrical repairs, emergency plumbing and drains, central heating repairs and installation providing highly skilled tradesmen for roofing repairs. We have qualified engineers and experienced tradesman (with relevant certification) to carry out works to both residential and commercial properties on behalf of private owners, tenants and landlords.
Running Gigney is a stable and motivated management team whose members between them have vast experience in all of the company's areas of operation. We recognise that every building is unique, so for each contract we tailor a team with exactly the right blend of skills and expertise.
Our senior managers can draw on a fund of more than 100 years' combined experience in the property maintenance industry. This enables them to identify key issues and a comprehensive list of do's and don'ts to ensure we get it right the first time.

Insurance
Gigney manages all insurance requirements through QBE INSURANCE LTD who ensure Gigney have continual, regular cover in all insurance matters. Gigney will indemnify its clients against all costs directly related to our services to the following limits:

Gigney a number of services which can either be taken on a one-off basis, or as part of a more general property maintenance contract. We have divided these services into three core teams:
Our Major Works team provides refurbishments, decorating and property renovations for larger jobs, particularly those for commercial landlords and multi occupancy properties. This team is adept at providing a realistic and achievable schedule of work including (but not limited to) painting, paper hanging, flooring, roofing, carpentry, tiling, plumbing, electrical works, bricklaying and plastering. Each contract is priced individually which allows us to take into account the unique elements of the job.
if you are unfortunate enough to have flood, fire or accidental damage to your property, we can provide quotes and estimates for insurance work. We have carried out work on behalf of several large insurance companies and understand how distressing it can be when this type of work is undertaken.
Underpinning all of the services we provide is our commitment to quality. We are accredited not just as a company, but at an individual level. Our electricians and plumbers are accredited in their own right to NIC or Gas Safe standards. Every member of our team has experience of working for SafeContractor accredited companies where health, safety and quality standards are second nature; as a company we are awaiting confirmation of our SafeContractor award.

Estimating and pricing
Gigney employs a team of professional estimators with many years of experience. The first step is to discuss your requirements in detail; if we spot a potential issue or have a solution you haven't considered, we will let you know at this early stage. The second step is to carry out a full site survey and produce a written estimate of works detailing all prices and costs.
During the refurbishment work
All Gigney contracts - no matter how large or small - are professionally project managed to ensure works are completed on time and on budget. Clients are consulted as required throughout the job to ensure complete customer satisfaction. All materials, fixtures and fittings can be provided through Gigney recommended suppliers or in accordance with your instructions.
